Obituary of Michael Joseph Ringrose

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Joseph Ringrose at the age of 53. He entered into eternal life on Wednesday Jan. 15, 2020 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a long and courageous battle against cancer. He was born on April 4, 1966 in Glen Cove, Long Island and was the son of the late Thomas and Christine Ringrose. Michael was a Software Security employee for GDIT in Menands, NY for over 5 years and has worked in the computer industry most of his life. He was a black belt in Taekwondo and a blue belt in Hapkido. He was a man who enjoyed 4 wheeling, dirt bike riding and motorcycling. He enjoyed hunting and the nature of the woods. He had attended Northway Church in Clifton Park for many years and also had been a small business computer consultant. Anything he put his mind to, he could do it and do it well. He had a love for gardening, Michael really enjoyed growing roses. He was a sentimental man and even planted tree Peonies in honor of his grandmother. He was a great man of integrity, if he said he was going to do something, he did it. One of his favorite things to do was to dine out with his wifey, Theresa. He is greatly missed. He is the much loved, devoted husband and best friend of Theresa M. Ringrose, whom he married August 21, 1999. He is the father of Michael Joseph Ringrose, Jr. (fiancé' Bekah) and Nicholas Andrew Ringrose (girl friend Kayla); brother of Thomas Ringrose, Robert Ringrose, Dina Lamica, Susan Collins and the late Mickey Sean. He is the son-in-law of Denise M.; brother-in-law of Steven (fiance’ Tina). He treasured the shared time with his puppy, "Snuggles" He was predeceased by his parents and step mother, Oie Ringrose. Now he enjoys their heavenly company along with his canine companions, Rosie, Trixie and Cuddles. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. A small reception to follow with light finger food @ Grace Fellowship Halfmoon in the fellowship hall. His interment will be in the Spring. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, St. Jude's Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142
