I worked with Tom for many years at DOCS. There was not a more loyal, hardworking professional in the department. During the toughest of times in the 80's and early 90's, Tom, Larry and their support staff helped keep the security aspect of the department on an even keel. They were rough times of rapid expansion, layoffs and endless promotions, most often managed in those early years by hand. Tom's brain was like a computer and he could do calculations faster than someone with a calculator. Through all those difficult times, Tom was steadfast and never lost his cool. In the afterhours I played on the softball and bowling teams with Tom. I had followed his athletic history in the Record and new of his prowess. Even in his later years his abilities showed through. But most importantly, Tom was a man of thoughtfulness and compassion. You could always count on Tom for a smile or a laugh. Truth be told; at work I would often go see Tom just to smile and laugh with him, as a way to relieve some stress. He was a true family man and a credit to all. he put others before him, ALWAYS! He is someone who when he passed the entire world got a little darker. Rest in peace my friend !

The world lost an incredibly amazing man when Tom passed away. I could sit and listen to Tom tell his stories and listen to his laugh forever. I remember when he was dating my sister Sharon how he would welcome my brother Bob and I on car rides and he would sing and his voice was so beautiful. There aren’t enough words I could say about him, Gone but never forgotten, Rest In Peace my wonderful brother in law
