Dear family,
Your mother emanated kindness and compassion. Her fullness of heart was worn on her sleeve. A truly lovely person.

So sad to hear the news this Sunday morning. My sincere condolences go out to Mrs. Hurleys family. I was very lucky to grow up next door to Mrs. Hurley and her husband, Jim. They were staples of my childhood and important members of the “village” that helped my parents raise me. They gave me my first car in return for a very badly and inconsistently mowed lawn, haha! Mrs. Hurley was always so sweet, always inviting me inside for a drink and a treat. It’s hard to talk about either of them as individuals since they were always such a team presence in my life. I will always remember them for their kindness (and sometimes tough love :) ). Rest in peace, Mrs. Hurley.

Janet - my dear, dear friend and neighbor. I am so sorry to hear this. It was a pleasure sharing a driveway with all the Hurleys for almost 46 years. My heart goes out to all of you. Prayers.

My dear and elegant Aunt Janet never failed to make everyone feel better. She sent the sweetest letters to me through the years always telling me to come visit and bring my doggies. She loved to tell me about being in unison with my mother, they married the Hurley boys. Her smile lit up a room and her genuine concern will stay with me forever.
My husband Joe was smitten with her and amazed by her strength.
I hope she is with Uncle Bud, Tom and my parents smiling and free. All my love to each of my dear cousins ,
Mary

My “Ma H” will be missed. She opened her heart to me when I first met her many years ago & I considered her my second mother. May her memory be a blessing.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember your Mom’s sweet smile while growing up in Clifton Park. Shelagh and I go way back and I want to let all the Hurley’s know I am thinking of you at this time. Your family has been through so much recently. Be strong!
