Truly an unexpected and great loss to Jimmy's friends in Southern California and of course everywhere. Jimmy and I had a ritual for holidays and birthdays that had carried on for at least 25 years or so. We met through mutual friends over at Aerocraft Hydraulics and then through our band Metal Rose. He was a great friend and person. Jimmy and Skylar were supposed to come to Southern California last summer and hang out at our house for a week or so and I was supposed to get my motorcycle license so we could cruise the coast.
RIP Houston...

I am at a loss for words. Jim and I reconnected on Facebook. I have so many childhood memories with him and Judy.
I sent him a pic a few months ago of his dad I had found. My thoughts and prayers are with you Maggie and his beautiful daughter.
God Bless

Our thoughts and prayers to Jim's Family from the Balistreri family. He was just talking the other day about the time we served together in Hawaii, and the fun we had, back in the 80's. Jim was a great person who cared deeply for his family & friends, and will be missed. May he rest in peace.

I can't begin to know the pain you are all going through. James, as I called him, was such a wonderful person and it always made my day when he would come into the YMCA. Skylar, your dad loved you so much. There would be days we would talk for all of your swim practices about how proud he was of you. James you will be missed.

Jim,
I will miss your support during Skylar's time with the swim team at the Glenville YMCA. I will definitely miss joking with you and conversing about sports & life when you would hang out at the pool with us coaches. Your spirit will live on with all of us.
-Carl
